Specialist in Glaucoma and Cataracts
"It is truly a privilege to care for my patients and be trusted with one of their
most precious gifts—their ability to see. I take that responsibility seriously,
and I look forward to building lifelong relationships with them."
Dr. Teymoorian is originally from Glendale, California, and moved to Orange County after high school. He spent the next decade at the University of California, Irvine completing his education. This includes graduating from the highly selective UC Irvine MD/MBA program. While at the Merage School of Business, he focused on marketing and organizational behavior. He concluded his education in Orange County with his internship at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Dr. Teymoorian then moved to the Midwest, where he completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. In his final year of training, he was selected as the Chief Resident. He was an original contributor to the "Eye Handbook," which is the most popular ophthalmic smartphone application. It has been written about in numerous journals, was the topic of award-winning presentations at the national and local level, and sets the standard for integration of smartphone technology and eye care. After residency, he returned to California to complete his specialized training in glaucoma at Stanford University.
Dr. Teymoorian met his beautiful wife, Sarah, during medical school. They were classmates and were in the same graduating class from UC Irvine’s School of Medicine. Sarah is an internist who is specialized in geriatric and palliative medicine. They are thrilled to be back at home in Orange County. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with family, and trying to improve their culinary skills and golf swings.
